Hi, I'm Kristie Walters (married name was Yoder, currently divorced) and I'm also known as Krissy. I'm still living in Cando, North Dakota as I have been for many years. If you shop from me, I do want to thank you ahead of time. If you remember me from before I experienced some health issues after my cancer surgery plus arthritis in my knee and that prevents me from working outside the home full time. So this helps to supplement my income and it helps me pay the bills to support my daughter and myself. I'm currently divorced as it wasn't a good situation for my daughter and I to be in. At last I am finding my joy and happiness in life again.
I've been involved in various crafts over the years.
Sewing quilts for a number of them and my doll bottles for play and reborn dolls were another importation part of my crafting history. I figured out how to make my doll bottles so the liquid inside lasted over time and remained looking fresh as the day they were made. They do not contain acrylic paint, white school glue, wood glue nor did I use fabric softener like many. The results were not pretty. I do plan on getting back into making them along with other accessories.
That was followed up by my soapmaking experiences. I made bath soaps and lotions as well as a number of other bath and body type products. But I specialized in mens shaving soaps and other grooming products. I was told it wasn't possible to make a tallow based hard soap that had the specs desired. Well I was the first to figure that mystery out and I did it well. Now the market is totally saturated. I offered many different products in terms of ingredients, scents and product packing to give the customer exactly what he or she wanted.
Now I am getting back into sewing. I also have an embroidery machine that I will be using to take my items to the next level.
I will also be adding other random crafts as I make them, so you never know what you will find.
If you are looking for something in particular please do ask as I can and do make custom listings.
thank you and thanks for popping by my store.
